I must have been listening to “Bus Stop,” by The Hollies when I thought of this idea. I can honestly say nothing like that has ever happened when I’ve been at a bus stop. Most of the time, everyone is busy avoiding eye contact. Bus stops must follow the same etiquette as elevators.
