Feeling Animated Cartoon

When it comes to expressing our emotions, some of us are reserved while others go out of their way to ensure everyone knows how their feeling. I am in the subdued camp. But I enjoy observing a very expressive person. This led to my feeling animated cartoon.

Feeling animated Cartoon. A girl says, "I am not upset. I'm just more animated than usual."

If I had the time and animation skills, I could see this cartoon as an animated GIF. Maybe the girl’s arm would sway back and forth. Or she would lean into her nemesis. Alas, that is not in my wheelhouse today.

The Urban Dictionary defines animated as someone very expressive with how they feel. When I read the definition, I think of a drama queen. It reminds me of those who can turn any mundane day into an emotion-filled tempest. They bring suspense, terror, and pathos to anyone at the drop of a careless word. God bless them!

It reminds me of when school is about out and the arguing is just beginning. Friends and siblings who were so tight a few days before become foes. Will the relationship survive? Will truth prevail over falsehoods? Can good triumph over evil? For crying out loud! All this arguing is about a bag of potato chips. Get a grip, children!

While we shake our heads at the immaturity of kids that have a hard time managing their emotions. It seems adults aren’t much better. There is no shortage of drama among adults whether it is individuals, groups, or nations. There is no shortage of conflict anywhere in the world. Heaven help us!

In a world that has become so dramatic, we need a little comic relief. So let’s laugh a little and enjoy the benefits of a feeling animated cartoon.
