Cartoon of boy and jack-o-lantern. The boy says, “It’s six in the morning. Stop looking so happy!”
Cartoon of two racers. One of them is wearing motor racing gear. The other says, “I get the feeling one of us is wearing the wrong racing gear.”
I’ve ran twice in the Indianapolis 500 Mini-Marathon. One of the highlights is you get to run around the Indianapolis Speedway. It’s amazing to know you’re running on the same track where race cars go over 200 miles per hour. So I’ve thought of this idea more than once as I’ve been jogging around the 2 1/2 mile oval.
I drew this for Illustration Friday. This week’s word is “racing.”
Vinnie Vasquez has a great post on cartoons, technology and relationships. He’s featured several of my cartoons too. Check it out and see what other cartoonists have said about technology and relationships.

It still amazes me how technology has affected relationships in good and bad ways. It’s neither good nor bad in itself. But it can sure cause some damage if used incorrectly.
Cartoon of two boys and a baby with vampire teeth. One boy says, “Ever since he’s began teething, he’s been looking spooky.”
Teething babies are spooky, especially when you are a first time parent. You’re cuddly bundle of joy suddenly becomes a slobbery, angry, spooky vampire. I made it easy on my mom. I was so colicky, teething was actually an improvement in my personality. Bless you, Mom!
