6/11/09 Sketch journal about the rainy morning. The duck wasn’t in my truck, but I saw a similar scene a few weeks ago. The water fowl have enjoyed this wet weather. The whole world is their domain.

I’m working on a daily doodle today. Let’s hope I can make it an actual “daily doodle.”

I was thinking about the old cliche, “Hang in there.” Sometimes we’re holding on for dear life when the ground is much closer than we think.

A few weeks ago, I drew this set of kids and moms at church.
I liked the expressions of the kids. It’s as if they were nervous because two parents were communicating. Kids get nervous whenever adults band together in the same way parents fear organized kiddie coups.
