Travel Restrictions

Cartoon of Joseph and the Magi. One wise man says, “Sorry we’re late. Magi have the worst time getting through airport security.”

If United States citizens think going through airport security here is tough, I can just imagine what Roman security would have been like. I’m still glad I live in this century.

Caroling for Bonuses

Cartoon of a group of Christmas carolers. They’re singing, “€œDeck the Halls With fiscal Slowness, fa-la-la-la-la-a-a, La-la-la-la! Please give us our Year End Bonus…”

I originally drew this a dozen years ago during another economic slow-down. These things happen in cycles.

Confession is good for the Loot

Cartoon of  a boy on Santa Claus’ lap. Boy says, “If I confess stuff, will I get more loot?”

Something about Santa and his throne has always made me uneasy. It felt more like a confession booth to me. I was sure he would penetrate the deep, dark places of my soul and find a reason not to give me that souped up Batmobile!

Christmas Lights

Cartoon of boy hanging Christmas lightsCartoon of boy hanging by gutter. He says, “Get Dad! Tell him I’m sorry I started putting up Christmas lights without him and I could really use his help!”

It has been warm for an Indiana Christmas. I was able to put the Christmas lights on the house and wear a short-sleeve shirt. This time, my kids didn’t have to wait for me. You know how impatient they get!

Caption reads: “Get Dad! Tell him I’m sorry I started putting up Christmas lights without him and I could really use his help!”
