Taste for Adventure

Cartoon of a boy with a bike and a helmet. Boy says, “Whenever I wear a helmet, I have a taste for adventure.”

Clothes make a man. A helmet makes for adventure. I’ve had issues with bike helmets. I’ve often wondered if they made them look more adventurous would more people wear them. Right now, bike helmets just look dorky.

Cartoon: Birthday cheer

Cartoon of two girls. One says, “Happy Birthday! You don’t look a day over seven.”

My sister has a birthday today. She looks a little older than seven, but still much younger than me. That’s the way it should be. All is right in the world.

Cartoon: Pointy Homework

Spear-Cartoon_3520

Cartoon of a boy with a test and a dog. Boy says, “For a pointer, you’re pretty lousy at pointing out homework answers.”

I never used our dog to do my homework. She was a collie and whenever I’d ask a question, she’d just nip at my heels.

Cartoon: Attitudinal License

Cartoon of two boys playing. One says, “How do they expect me to go the extra mile when I’m not old enough to drive?

It can be tough to go the extra mile, especially when the highway is plugged up. But it’s worth it to go that extra distance. That must be why I’m posting a cartoon on Saturday. It’s an extra blog post on the Information Superhighway.

Cartoon: Infinite ways

Cartoon of two boys walking. One says, “Today at school, I discovered there are an infinite number of ways to annoy a girl.”

Yes, there are an infinite number of ways to annoy people, I’m going to try and find the infinite number of ways to be a blessing today.

This also works for Illustration Friday. This week’s word is “infinite.”
