I’ve been on vacation this week. One of the books I’ve been reading is The Go-Giver.

I enjoyed this book because of the stage of life I am currently in.
For nearly thirteen years, I worked for Warner Press, a Christian publisher. My wife was a children’s pastor for a growing Indiana church.
In July 2015, my wife was called to a church in Scottsdale, Arizona. I expected to find work in a few weeks. But it was six months before I found a great job with Facebook.
But in July of this year (2016), she was called to another great church in Ohio. So I am looking once again.
This book made me reconsider how to give and add value to others. These things take time. While I would love to give value to a new business right away, I know I must build relstionships before I can give to others.
I suppose I am giving a round up of the last year because of the third law in The Five Laws of Stratospheric Success.
The Lae of Authenticity: The most valuable gift you have to offer is yourself.
So as I enter the next chapter of my life, I am striving to be generous and authentic. It seems to be a good way to live.

Kevin, many thanks for your kind review of John David Mann’s and my book. I can tell that you are the very embodiment of a go-giver and I know that the next firm you work with will be extremely fortunate indeed to have you on their team. Again, huge thanks!
