Authenticity Cartoon

Who likes a fake? Nobody wants to be known as someone you can’t trust. A stroll through a store one day inspired this authenticity cartoon.

Authenticity Cartoon: A boy says, "I've been looking for authenticity. So far, all I know is it isn't in any discount department stores."

Every time I go to a department store, I wonder how many people are looking for something that just isn’t in all those goods. You know, things like love, peace, and authenticity. After all, money can’t buy love.

Fitting In

The problem with fitting in with our culture is that it’s very hard to make an impression when we are just like everyone else. Of course, We need to work with those around us. And every impulse we have isn’t necessarily helpful or positive. Yet, we are all unique and have something to offer.

We can find tips on how to be authentic online. This article has three tips on how to be authentic and remarkable. The advice includes knowing our worth, forming authentic relationships, and making authentic decisions.

When we are tempted to go along with the crowd, let’s stop and consider if what we are doing or thinking is truly authentic to ourselves. I have learned the crowd isn’t always right. Still, I have also learned being different merely to be contrarian isn’t helpful either.

One way I have found to be authentic is to get my ideas out on my blog. So in that spirit, I present to you this authenticity cartoon!
