This cartoon came to me the other day when my pastor was preaching a sermon on Ephesians 2:10.
For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.

To be creative, you need to think of yourself as a masterpiece. In order to feel creative energy, you must see yourself as a beautiful creation. For you are a masterpiece!
That’s tough to see if you have been through rough situations. You may believe you’re broken. Or you may have a disability or illness. Maybe things just haven’t turned out the way you planned.
No masterpiece is ever perfect. Creativity is messy. We live in a messy, broken world. Creativity isn’t born out of perfection. It is seeing something beautiful out of the messy junk of life.
So yes! Lets go over this one more time. You are a masterpiece! Now go out there and create something today. Make some beauty out of the mess.
