Saint Nick and Noncompetes

Cartoon of a stern businessman and Santa Claus. The man says, “I saw you at another mall, Santa. What about our noncompete agreement?”

Santa has a tough time in the retail world. He gives toys away, he cares about good behavior, he works at all the malls without concern for competition,  and his distribution system is superb to Amazon’s. Keep it up, Santa. We love you just the way you are!

Giving Tuesday Surprises

Cartoon of a dog and cat. The dog says, “Don’t worry. I won’t tell anyone you donated to a dog rescue organization.”Welcome to Giving Tuesday! This has nothing to do with the cartoon, but if you’re looking for a great organization to give to today, I recommend a place I’ve worked for. Elizabeth’s New Life Center in Dayton helps families make godly life choices.

There are, of course, many organizations that can use our help. If you favor another cause, be sure to make a difference today.

cartoon of a man interrogating a woodchuckI’m not sure which came first; my idea or the Geico commercial. But both make me laugh after all this time. Now after playing the commercial, I have a voice to go with the little critter.

A comedy or a tragegy?

Cartoon of a sad boy. He says, "My life is going nowhere. At this rate I'll never sell the movie rights to my life story!"

It sounds great to have a movie made about your life until you realize all life journeys worth watching involve discomfort, pain and insurmountable odds. After all, nobody needs a hero if there is nothing to be rescued from.
