This is an activity book cover I did for Warner Press entitled, Locusts for Lunch. This book holds a little place in my heart because it was one of the first I wrote, illustrated and designed. It was fun planning the word and graphic activities as well as telling the story.
I thought this title would be perfect for this week’s Illustration Friday word. The word is “swarm.”

Sometimes, frugality in the work place and a desperate search for an outlet leads people to some odd campaigns. The lady in this illustration has had her fill of paper clips and she won’t take it anymore!

Here is an illustration of Cupid and a boy. Cupid is upset because the boy has blocked Cupid’s arrows with a trash can lid.
Cupid’s day is over and alas, there were probably some thwarted plans and proposals yesterday. Here is a hand-drawn cartoon of one of Cupid’s exploits.
