When I thought of Illustration Friday’s word, “freeze,” I thought of one of my favorite summer treats. Whether you for for Tasty Freeze™, slushies, Slurpees, shaved ice, Italian Ice, Mr Freeze™, snow cone, or any other type or brand, They are just the right treat when you’re on a hot beach!

Perhaps I need a cape today. The problem is, people look at you strange if you take your cape to the gym. And I learned from the movie, “The Incredibles,” it can be quite the safety hazard.

I’m wondering if there are any rotary phones left in the United States. I haven’t seen one for years, but they were a very big part of my childhood. Surely someone is still using one of those odd machines.
Technology changes in the blink of an eye. What was the norm twenty years ago is now distant history. I’ve learned not to depend on technology if I’m looking for something that will last. Phone will come and go. Put your hopes in something that isn’t a fad or the latest technology.
Pride has a way of putting us in our place. So many times, I wanted to look good and not play the fool. Unfortunately, my pride was the thing that made me look like a fool.
Whenever I’ve looked down on someone, it has inevitably caused me to fall. Whenever I see a pundit or politician pumping himself up while tearing another person down, I get out of the way. Sooner or later, that guy is going to fall!
