A few weeks ago, I got to write an article about a church that is embracing a new name and renewed mission. It is a great example of why renewal is always possible.
I love writing about these articles because it shows that it is never too early for a restart. Here’s another great example from last year. In each case, because someone had hope, a vision, and the courage to begin again, good things began to happen.
Too often, we give up on a dream or relationship. It’s too easy to write something off and move on. After all, it had a good run. It’s time for something else to take over. Let someone else have the headaches. We think it’s easier to chuck it all and start from scratch.
But what if instead of starting from the beginning, the solution is to take a pivot? What if it is time for renewal instead of a complete restart?
We don’t always have to start from square one. Our legacy, talents, and assets may be worth more than we realize. Before we give up on something. Let’s consider if renewal is a better option.
Yes, there are many reasons why renewal is always possible. Consider whether it’s time to quit or time to renew.
